1. Data Collected To provide our core content transformation functionality, we process the following categories of user data:

• Website content: We capture article text, selected text, visible transcripts, and video frames from your active tab strictly when you initiate a capture to generate a story or artwork.
• Authentication information: We collect the user-supplied API keys you provide to connect with third-party AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, xAI Grok, and KIE.ai).
• Personally identifiable information: If you purchase StoryPage Pro, we process the information necessary to verify your license status via our API (api.nextstepconrad.com).

2. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services Because StoryPage acts as a bridge between your browser and AI generators, data sharing is strictly limited to the services you choose to enable:

• AI Providers: When you generate a story, comic, or artwork, the specific website content you captured is sent directly to the AI provider you have actively selected and configured with your API key.
• Payment Processing: StoryPage Pro checkout is hosted externally on Stripe. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card numbers or financial statements.
• We do not sell your data or share it with any third parties other than your chosen AI provider and our secure license verification server.

3. Limited Use Disclosure StoryPage complies fully with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy. We explicitly certify the following regarding your data:

• Affirmative Statement of Compliance: The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Single Purpose Use: We do not use or transfer user data for purposes that are unrelated to our item's single purpose of transforming webpage and video content into illustrated stories, comics, coloring books, or storyboards.
• Financial Protections: We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security We collect the absolute minimum data required to operate.

• Your chosen AI provider API keys, extension settings, and generated books are stored locally within your browser.
• We do not maintain centralized databases or external servers that store your generated books or browsing content.
• All communications between the extension, your chosen AI providers, and our license verification server are transmitted via secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS).

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
